Most tools let you save the current input values — not the result — as a named preset, and reload them anytime from the same menu. Open a tool’s ”⋮” menu → Presets → Save current inputs…, name it, and it’s ready next time you open that tool.
Saving a preset requires an account. Signed out, the same menu item opens a dialog explaining why — nothing is lost, you just need to sign in first.
Using a saved preset
The Presets submenu lists your saved presets by name once you have any. Click a name to apply it to the current tool; the trash icon next to it deletes that preset.
What doesn’t get saved
A preset never stores:
- Uploaded files — re-upload each time.
- Password-type fields.
- Fields the tool marks as always-linked to another field.
If a tool changes its inputs after you saved a preset, applying it later just drops whatever no longer exists rather than erroring — old presets degrade gracefully instead of breaking.
Limits
Up to 20 presets per tool, names capped at 60 characters and unique per tool. Tools whose only real input is a file (most image/document converters) don’t offer Presets at all, since there’d be nothing to save.
